I love Jeux D’eau by Liszt, but it’s such a pain to learn because of all the accidentals xD. There’s only 3 more pages I need to learn but nearly every single note is an accidental and it doesn’t help that one measure goes for the whole freaking bar so I have to keep track of about a hundred and one sharps/flats/naturals/etc. I had a performance today for the Algonquin Arts Rising Stars program, which was pretty cool and everyone performed really well. Nearly everyone there was planning to major in music though – I felt so awkward because I’m definitely going into computer science; I don’t know about music yet. I also got to talk with the conductor of the state Philharmonic, which was nice because I got to hear advice from a professional, although at first he was a bit too blunt when talking with all the performers (aka: you all are far away from becoming professionals and you better work more and harder now or else no one will accept you as a professional o_o). He said I played really well though and didn’t give any criticisms, so that made me happy. Ah well, I missed a day of school for the recital
I was watching Victor Borge on Youtube. Geez that man is amazingly funny and amazing at piano. O_O
So the Grand Exchange came out – I loved it at first when it came out but now I’m not so sure. It DEFINITELY makes buying things a lot, lot easier. However, selling isn’t necessarily that much easier. I’ve had 200 raw trout/salmon in there for a few days and the last time I checked it still hasn’t sold. I don’t mind about the definite prices they have, they’re usually the price I sell for anyway so it doesn’t make that much of a difference (although sometimes they are higher). Also, people still are yelling “selling blahblahblah in the GE!” only now it’s around the grand exchange. Overall I’d much rather buy from the Grand Exchange but sell on my own because it’s so much faster.

I hate it. I don’t see why it’s needed because ffs, it’s just the INTERNET.
The Runescape clan I’m in got in a big fuss over another clan who wanted to war us because they were flaming us when in all honesty it was one of our members who started the flaming – the other clan just took the flaming to an unneeded extent by calling us noobs and pussies because we didn’t want to do a full-out rune war. That’s solved now though.
Meanwhile, our clan itself had some problems. One of our old Council members apparently stole a Rune G plate from the bank and word got out. People were also complaining about him flaming others and abusing his powers. This carried on for a bit before he got removed from the Council. Some of this still carries on.
Then we found out that one of the leaders of the clan who wanted to war us had registered an account on our forums, came to a few of our events, and spied on us. Then we all got the notion that OMGeverynewmemberhastobeaspy and there was this spy rampage for a few days. It was unneeded. The only reason that other guy got in was because our application was a bit too leniant. Fixed now.
And then yesterday on the IRC chat I admin, the main network admin left because he got word that one of the users was backtalking him. He also server banned that certain user. However, the server ban was removed and that user gave logs of the network admin apologizing to him. Meanwhile, two other people on the server are insisting that the user’s ban stay on and pushing the mods to ban him. They did shut up later on and I got word from the network admin that he actually did leave.
Guh. It’s driving me nuts tbh. I also need better post categories…oh well. Sorry if this post was confusing – I tried not to name any names.
Kelsey please completely pwn Beastialityface and Farmingnub in the next skotm.

I visited my old Runescape clan again and went pking with them. I got so lucky at the end though because I got attacked by a clan (everyone else split up somehow and I was on my own) in 1vs1 combat in level 39 wildy. You can’t tele above level 20 wildy so when I was down to 5 lobsters I ran. I ran out of running energy at around level 30 wildy and my food ran out at around level 28 wildy. Somehow, I managed to get down to level 20 wildy on 1 health while a melee-er was tailing me and hitting 0’s. Then I somehow managed to tele before I died. Pure, pure, pure luck.
Then Fo Fifth challenged me to a death match, so we did and I won. Video can be found here.
I should also be studying for a biology quiz on Genetics …but since when do I study? xD

I read a blog post about how some peoples’ blogs aren’t all too interesting and how they didn’t spark debate or interest. It wasn’t really that that made me slightly pissed though – it was the fact that the writer of the post said that he/she would comment on peoples’ blogs that he/she “deemed worthy” and that boring blogs were full of spam.
Now I don’t know about you, but I believe that every blog is worthy enough if it is active, not written half in 1337, and contains at least a few posts longer than 50-100 words. It’s the fact that the person goes through the time to update that makes it worthy. This shows that they actually made the blog for a reason, not to leave it there idle for the sake of having a blog. Whether the actual post is interesting or not and whether or not to comment is up to the opinion of the reader, but if the post is boring to you that doesn’t mean the blog isn’t “worthy.” Who knows, maybe it could be interesting to someone else who reads the blog. Saying that you won’t comment unless you “deem a blog worthy” is similar, in my mind, to not speaking to people in real life because you don’t “deem them worthy” which to me is a rather stuck-up attitude.
On to the next point this person brought up. He/she says that some blogs are boring, don’t have any debate or interesting posts, and the posts are all pretty much spam. Well the last time I heard of blogs I thought it meant an online diary type of place. That’s pretty much what I use my blog for – just to keep a record of what I do. I don’t care if people think it’s boring and don’t comment, for I didn’t make this blog to get 32948374 comments. Sometimes the posts may be boring; I can’t help that because my life isn’t always all that interesting. The lack of arguable posts on my blog also stems from the fact that awhile back I put up a highly opinionated post and got flamed from two people I didn’t know, so I stopped doing that. I agree my blog can be slightly boring, but that doesn’t mean it’s spam. Spam to me is posting something completely irrelevant to anything (Ex: i liek cheez loooooolllololol!!!1), not something that isn’t interesting. I like writing in my blog because I like to be able to go back a few years from now and see what I did. I know that this certain person most likely wasn’t talking about my blog specifically. However, all the on B&B blogs I’ve read I would not call spam at all. They contain some sort of content, whether it be Runescape or gaming or real life or opinions to name a few. Sometimes the posts do bore me, sometimes they don’t, but even so I appreciate the fact that the writers of the blogs care to update. Just because a post may not interest you doesn’t mean in any way that the blog is spam and that it’s “not worthy.” Blogs do not HAVE to have debates and interesting posts; in the end it’s completely up to the writer’s opinion of what to write about, not what you want them to write about to make it interesting for you.

I rarely login to Myspace, mainly just to look at a comment/message if I get an email saying I have either. However that doesn’t stop me from looking through bulletins, some of which annoy me to no end.
1. Putting a filter on a pic doesn’t make you cool.
I don’t know how many peoples’ pictures I’ve seen with a black/white filter or some other color filter or maybe even even (if they got smart) a distortion filter or some texture filter. Usually it’s not the picture that annoys me (although I have seen rather “open” pictures that have annoyed me), but it’s the people who comment it going “OMG U HAVE LIEK SUCH GUD PHOTOSHOP SKEEELZZ!!1!11!!11!11″ Exaggerated obviously, but seriously, anyone with half a brain could learn to select filter from the menu and choose one. That doesn’t take skill.
2. Asking people to comment you multiple times is just plain stupid.
Whenever I login at least one of the bulletins is “Comment me plz?” or “I’m trying to get to <insertnumberhere> amount of comments so GO COMMENT MEEEEE!!!!1″ Wtf. No. Who honestly CARES how many comments you have (besides other Myspace whores) and it just makes you seem utterly lame that you want to have the most comments ever. Someone I know posted three or four bulletins to try and get 13 comments on a picture. If people want to comment then they will comment and don’t need you pestering them through freaking 29384 bulletins to do it.
3. Omg so I met this really hot guy on Myspace…
This was mainly back in eighth grade when I had some friends who went around friending “hot emo guys.” The only thing I can say is: hopefully they’re not pedophiles.
4. Excessively long Myspace pages/pages with horrible coding/pages with lots of glittery images or things falling
There’s no end to my annoyance for these pages that have things unaligned everywhere, pictures/quiz results galore, bright blinking things everywhere, the text not standing out from the background, scrolling down 293847 miles to get to the bottom, blah. Why can’t people just keep it simple or use the code that puts your comments in a frame. It would make things a lot nicer. If you don’t know at least basic HTML, then don’t use codes please.

NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) started today. I think I’m actually having some sort of inspiration to cram through a 50,000 word novel in a month. I think I might even get it done (maybe). I added a widget over on the side to show my progress.
Months of no-free-time are also coming up. Piano competitions/recitals are going to start usurping my weekends (I already have one this Sunday and I always have lessons on Saturday). Ah well, only so much longer until the holidays.
