I’m starting a new thing that I thought of because I’m completely bored – the Crappy Myspace Page of the Week.  It’s where I find some random Myspace page and tear it apart with criticism about how much it sucks.  Note: no private info is shown and all faces are blocked out.  Comment with thoughts.

Well I was at school today and a friend of mine mentioned that it was he and his girlfriend’s four months coming up and that he had that date marked on his phone because his girlfriend would be pissed if he forgot.

Something in that statement rings a little odd to me.  Now don’t get me wrong, I know all relationships are different, but to celebrate a simple high school relationship every single month is a little, over the top might I say.  Most of the time that relationship won’t even last a year let alone past high school, and even then why do people celebrate a month’s anniversary?  If people truly loved each other in a relationship they wouldn’t need to do something special or give gifts on that “anniversary day” because all that would already be done every single day.  And it’s every month too – even adult anniversaries are only once every year.  I think it’s stupid really if his girlfriend will get pissed.  I say he should find another one but that’s just me. 

On a more random note, I just noticed that Zezima isn’t even on the first page of the hiscores anymore.  I guess Summoning is really getting to him.

I’m writing a new blog post because I can

Indeed.  Well Rune Beast is writing about idiots, so since I can’t think of anything else to write about I will too and see how closely our blog posts match.  And now apparently he’s not writing about idiots so just ignore the sentence before this one.

So, idiots.  Idiots are usually known as people who, in harsher terms, are dumb, stupid, thick-headed, and do not have a mental retardation.  Idiots can also just be people who are naive and immature, aka half the population on Runescape.  What I don’t understand is why people get the urge to act like idiots.  There is a guy in my phys ed class (he’s 16) who thinks he’s the shit and makes lame Lord of the Rings references and farting noises during class.  He’s a perfect example of an idiot.  The problem is, the other guys in the class think he’s funny, so he doesn’t stop.  I don’t understand why people who make a fool of themselves always get good attention.  Then there’s the good old online idiots who think just because you can’t see their face, they can act as stupid as they want, most of whom I want to punch in the face because they need to learn to grow up.  Why can’t people just learn to be mature and not think the world revolves around them?

…Did this post even make sense?  I’m writing this half asleep.

Note to self: Never look forward to a Runescape Update

Well, what else can I say?  I went around the new Stronghold of Player Safety today and yesterday (today more thoroughly).  I must say, I thought it was decent yesterday but after a second look, it really isn’t that good.

The actual reward you get from completing a “test” is 1k exp in a skill (or 500 each in two skills), new gloves with stat boosts less than d-vambs, 10k, and access to a new training area.  The 1k exp is okay but 10k is useless and the gloves don’t look that good (plus the stat boosts aren’t that amazing).  Now the training area would be okay if it wasn’t freaking multi-combat.  There are about 2-4 people per every level 83 Cockroach Warrior (or whatever they’re called), even on the least crowded worlds.  The other monsters, easy level 56 ones and puny level 8 ones, aren’t as crowded but who can train from them?  If Jagex intended for this to be an actual training area, making it multi-combat was a bad, bad idea.  The Security Stronghold is so much better because it has many more monsters, even if it is multi as well (is it?  I can’t remember too well).  I’m hoping the crowds will die down, but since the Cockroach Warriors drop rune, I highly doubt that. 

Then again, I never really have looked forward to F2P updates.  They’re usually crap anyway (save the GE).

Wtf RuneBeest (and other stuff)

My blog is not “one with nature.”  I plan on changing the banner …eventually.

I was playing a bit of Funorb today out of pure boredom and I have to say, I got more bored.  The concept of the games have potential but I don’t know, they just don’t appeal to me.  Star Cannon was interesting except the only thing you have to look forward to in the game is seeing what new lasers you’ll get.  The miner game bored me after about 2 minutes (I couldn’t get back up to my starting point haha.)  Arcanists had a rather boring gameplay; your good old angle-and-shoot game only gets so fun.  Those were the only three I played before I got off.  Hopefully better games will come out soon.

I just rewatched all three Lord of the Rings movies again and I have suddenly rediscovered my love for the series.  I spent all of today looking through fansites, signing up on forums, and reading as much as I could of the Silmarillion.  Ahh, the good old days.  It’s sad school’s taken my mind away from all the things I used to be so into.

New Layout and Stuff

I got bored of that good old plain layout, so here’s a new one.  I might change the header image but I like how it looks for now.

I must say, Funorb is a rather interesting game site.  However the gameplay of it is rather plain.  There’s not really anything unique about the games on the site, although I am looking forward to see how the site grows.  I’ve been playing Flash Hero most of the day.  It’s making up for my Guitar Hero-deprived life.  It’s rather addicting, although I still can’t get past hard.

I hate people who flame.  It’s been going on a lot too unfortunately (no this is not about BnB).  The RS clan I was in split up and now there’s three seperate small clans (one bigger than the other two because it was started earlier).  However, that larger clan keeps getting flamed by one of the smaller clans.  The smaller clan claims the larger clan had members in its clan chat who were flaming them, yet they have no proof.  It’s annoying me because I don’t understand why people can’t just be mature about things, grow up, and get over the fact that they were called a noob on a freaking ONLINE GAME.  To make matters worse, this gets posted on every single board possible.  No one gives a shit about crap you don’t even have screenshots of to prove it’s true.
