My IRC Scripts

I haven’t done a lot of IRC scripting recently, but here’s where I’ll put scripts I’ve made either recently or in the past. It’ll also be where I put info on scripts in the making. There aren’t many, seeing as I don’t get a lot of inspiration easily. All scripts will be either in .mrc format (is viewable in Notepad) or .txt format.

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE CREDIT FOR THESE SCRIPTS OR REPRODUCE THEM WITHOUT THE COMMENTS AT THE TOP OF EACH ONE.  THANK YOU.

Finished Scripts

Rainbow Script
This makes whatever you type return as “rainbow” text on a black background. You must configure the Bold/Color Type settings before you start it (instructions included in the script). Right click the channel window or type /color on to start it.

Text Correct
This script was designed for use in the Online Quidditch League (see link to the right), which is pretty much what most of my scripts are.  Type /tc or right click a channel window and click Text Correct to start it.  It will keep track of how many times you type a certain piece of text (which you can set) correctly in OQL terms.  If you’re seeking, it will automatically make sure you type the whole command correctly before it counts it.  This is basically for practicing/drilling use.

Scripts in the Making

-OQL Tournaments Dialog (setting them up, keeping track of people who signed up, etc)
-OQL Website Updater (for captains to update their pages)

If you have an idea for a script or want me to script something (as long as it doesn’t involve custom windows or sockets), please leave a comment on this page.
